Parents in East London stage anti-LGBT+ education Parents in East London stage anti-LGBT+ education protest outside primary school Parents gathered to protest the new RSE curriculum in place, that came into effect September 2020. “Don’t Confuse Children”, “I Do Not Content”, “Too Much, Too Soon” and “Education, Not Sexualisation” were included on the placards. Parents are demanding that teaching about LGBTQ+ families comes to an end. Students walk out of class in solidarity with tran Students walk out of class in solidarity with trans student banned from using the girls’ changing room A student in Temple High School, Texas was told that’s she couldn’t use the changing rooms because there were “actual girls in there”. Kendall was then told by a member of staff to change in a CLOSET with another male. 😥 The student is now being monitored by staff. She posts on IG “Temple High you say all students are equal, so why treat us any different”. This is SO unacceptable and heartbreaking 💔 As educators, we need to be protecting our trans and gender nonconforming youth not excluding them further.
