Clare is a writer, comedienne and singer/songwriter who also gives presentational talks. Her material mainly addresses LGBT lifestyles and issues. Her theatre company, Artemis, produces plays reflecting stories of marginalised communities, and her book Gateway to Heaven (2012) concerns the memories and experiences of older LGBT people, whilst her play Hearing Voices addresses the mental health system in this country.
