Julie is a longstanding and committed LGBT+ activist who has been involved with Educate & Celebrate for a number of years, helping to develop the charity into the fantastic organisation it is today. A civil servant by day, Julie brings a different viewpoint and expertise to the charity.
Julie's LGBT+ activism includes:
- A member of ACT UP (the AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power) in the 1980s
- Founder and Trustee of Norwich Pride
- Founder of Proud Canaries, the official Norwich City LGBT+ Fans & Friends Group, in 2014
As Chair of Trustees, Julie uses her skills and experience to support the charity and help Educate & Celebrate reach the people who need it most!
