The Educate & Celebrate Lead Teacher Programme will give you confidence and the support to engage all stakeholders with quick wins and strategies for long-term sustainable change, which participants will examine, plan for and implement during the course.
The programme is both practical and theoretical in line with current policy, research and thinking. It has been specifically designed to equip practising teachers from all subject areas and key stages with the skills, knowledge, resources and data-driven methods to begin the journey of embedding gender identity and sexual orientation into the fabric of your school.

Over the 12 week programme you will receive the essential tools to begin making positive change in your current setting, including:

  • A series of 4 webinars with pre and post tasks to complete in full within the 12 weeks
    Webinar 1 (in week 2): Policy & Language
    Webinar 2 (in week 4): Creating a welcoming environment
    Webinar 3 (in week 6): Curriculum
    Webinar 4 (in week 10): Presentations and evidence collating
  • 2 individual coaching sessions from the course tutor offering support and advice tailored to the needs of your current role.
  • Educate & Celebrate Lead Teacher Programme accreditation for participants who attend all 4 webinars, 2 coaching sessions and complete all tasks.

    The webinars and coaching sessions have flexible timings (daytime/early evenings) to accommodate your teaching schedule.
    Webinars will take place in the early evening to allow participants to interact.
    The 1:1 coaching sessions will be carried out during your working day.
