Make sure you have your say on Government Policy with the Youth Policy Development Group
The Youth Policy Development Group (#YPDG) is a team of 30 young people aged 16-25, working directly with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to represent and articulate the voice of England’s Youth to politicians at the highest levels of government, in order mainstream youth voice across all national decisions.
Make sure that young people have their say on the following questions, and the YPDG will make sure to articulate YOUR ideas directly to government officials in a roundtable discussion on the 25th of January.
Participants must be aged 25 years or under.

Ensuring everyone in our environment feels represented and validated is the key to your Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) strategy. This must include gender, gender identity and sexual orientation🌈
This is underpinned in legislation, to which schools and organisations must adhere to, including the statutory requirements under the Equality Act 2010 and the Statutory Guidance on RSHE (Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health education)📄
Schools and organisations have a duty to protect LGBT+ people and their families and it is a requirement to encourage positive relationships between all groups. We encourage an intersectional approach to the curriculum, well-being, mental health , pastoral care, achievement and community activities 🥰💖
