Students protest in support of teacher who was fired for being gay and forced to delete any social media posts that alluded to his sexual orientation 💜
Inoke Tonga, former volleyball coach, says that the Denver school belittled and forced him to resign after they “found out” he was gay 😢Inoke shared on social media that the school “grilled about how being gay is a danger to the school and to the kids."💔 When he refused to denounce being gay and was released the school then made their own announcement that he resigned.
Students then protested by walking out of class and held signs such as “schools of quality don’t fear equality” “trans rights are human rights” and “love is love”🌈💜
