We deliver relaxed and interactive sessions that take participants on the journey to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) using strategies to bring the whole community on board.
The sessions highlight inclusive language, increase knowledge of legislation, subject knowledge, experience an extensive range of interactive activities and resources, access case studies, successful strategies, links to display materials and a chance to ask questions to our experienced consultants.
The practical training is designed to empower you to lead an EDI initiative within your own school or organisation. You will leave with numerous materials, exemplar policies and resources to support delivery the very next day!
Key learning points:
- To develop a deeper understanding of sexual orientation, gender and gender identity, why it is necessary to include these protected characteristics in all activities and what we need to do to ensure their full inclusion and equilibrium with other equality strands
- Curriculum development in all subject areas and key stages including RSE, PHSE and RE
- Interrogating heteronormative and cisnormative practices and encouraging an intersectional approach as standard
- To experience real life examples from our partners through films, exemplar lessons, language, law, expectations, examples of environmental changes and community events.
- Develop your own action plan: participants are encouraged to identify core areas for interventions
- Increased subject and LGBT+ knowledge
- Exploration of quick wins and strategies for long term sustainable change

Cost
- ยฃ400 online whole staff training for a 60 minute session.
This includes a website and policy consultation.
- ยฃ1,000 for a package of three 60 minute session hour webinars spread throughout the academic year or delivered as a whole development day. Plus access to our Premium Resources area for 1 year.
The minimum charge for a webinar is ยฃ400.
