Stephen A Ireland has been involved in organising multiple Pride celebrations all over the country. In 2019, he decided that he would like to celebrate LGBTQ+ culture in one of the UK's largest counties, Woking. He took it upon himself to be the person to kick-start the change and the first Surrey PRIDE took place in August 2019.
